This is the End of the Dial Tone

This is the end of the dial tone
This is the end of the old ways
As the last echo of it’s buzzing
Holds grievously to it’s line
The frantic vibration of a sound
That knows it will soon be silenced

This is the beginning of music
As the rhythm of our souls
Finds time with the beat of our hearts
And our minds let go of all we know
in favor of the mystery of the flow
through Eternity

This is the end of industry
It’s revolution unable to bite it’s own tail
As it has slithered it’s way into every crevice of our lives
But can now only rattle it’s teetering end

This is the beginning of collaboration

as people once again come together

to feel the warmth of our souls

where there has for so long only been the coldness of convection

and commerce

This is the end of the empire
The blood drenched tapestry of civilization
Woven with golden needles and the souls of the oppressed
By fingers stained with green and hearts drenched in black
The 1 percent

This is the beginning of revolution

a constant state of change

bringing tides of hope and waves of release

Opening ourselves to new ways of seeing ourselves

and interacting with the other

We are One

This is the end of the slave trade

No longer must we serve those with power over us

because we realize the power of our service

Giving ourselves to our people to make the day brighter

The vampires are vanquished and return to their place in the

cold hard ground

This is the beginning of freedom

To do what you like, to be who you are

to feel as good as you are able

to love who you wanna love, hold who you wanna hold

become what you want to be

Be You

This is the end of convention

realizing that the new paths outblaze the old

building on the rubble of the crumbling maze before us

our labyrinth is leading us toward our destiny

what we create

from what’s here

This is the beginning of Improv…
