I´m turning forty-one years old today. It´s actually the first time that I´ve thrown a party to celebrate it in many years. Last year, I celebrated it by having lunch with my family and moving into a new home that would provide me with space, purpose, and possibilities for months to come. Since then, it´s been a rather interesting revolution as I´ve weaned myself off of a societal norm in order to look at things from another perspective.
This year, I´ve got two homes lined up, and the space, purpose, and possibilities are popping out of the woodwork. So far, aside from the separation, divorce, homelessness, and destitution, my forties are turning out to be my favorite decade yet. I can´t wait to see what the next year brings.
Thank you to everyone who shared the year with me, and thank you in advance for sharing the year to come. I really think I´ve finally hitting my stride in this whole ¨life¨ thing, and I think this year is going to be a really interesting one, what with the end of the world and the zombie apocalypse and all. I think my forty-second birthday party is going to be off the hook! I hope you stick around for it.
